Some last, personal notes on Kaua'i Hawaii.
The people are as nice as they say.
Special thanks to the gate guard at the Princeville Hotel,
the folks at Red Dirt Shirt Outlet store (across from WalMart),
and whoever prepared my Ono at Coconuts (and the waiter for telling us to get it.)
All the cool folks at Calvary Church - North Shore (and Kapa'a too)
Ray and Pattie for letting us stay at their dynamite condo, with the best view in town.

If you are going to Kaua'i you need the Ultimate Kaua'i Guidebook, It is worth every penny

Don't Miss
Waimea Canyon (start up the road at sunrise.)
Tunnels Beach (but park at Ha'ena Beach Park and walk down if the little roads are all blocked up)
Queen's Bath in Princeville. (wear good hiking shoes to get there.)

WalMart in Liuhe for inexpensive gifts, the ABC Store in Kapa'a, or Whalers in Hanalei.

Buy your underwater cameras at home, they are cheaper here.
Buy reef shoes before you go anywhere, cheapest at WalMart in Lihue.
Pedal and Paddle (Hanalei) rents prescription goggles cheap. (Snorkling)

Next time I bring a guitar.
I tried to rent one but they were all out and I couldn't find a soul that would let me play theirs.
I expected to find music everywhere and was disappointed.
I guess that it is more of a job than an advocation for a lot of folks there.
The only better time I have had in my life was marrying my wife and delivering our children.

Aloha!
